Technical Woes
Wow, y'all, just wow! You may have noticed that my blog was late this week. Saturday, when I would normally do my blog, I was working on a recertification for school when my computer crashed! A message popped up telling that it had encountered a problem and was going to reboot to solve the problem. When it tried to reboot, it couldn't find my hard drive. What do I do? Panic!
I have been hard at work trying to get boards up and going now that we are on Pinterest (Yarbrough House Publishing if you're looking). I had already done many quote pics and pinned the pictures of the book covers. I was so sure all that was gone. Not to mention I was working on The Clause Tradition, and I was in the twelfth chapter. Stupid me, I had not backed anything up on a flashdrive yet. Of course, in my mind I am having to start over on so much work.
My mom and dad took my computer up to Office Max for me yesterday while I was at work and then to a computer repair store in Gadsden. Turned out the guy could still see my hard drive even though the computer couldn't. Still, there were 199 problems that were about to kill my hard drive any minute. In the end, I still had to get a new hard drive, but he was able to save all my information first! Yea!!
All bets are still on, and The Clause Tradition will move on. Talk about relief. I have been so worried about everything that I wouldn't get done while I was back tracking. I figured that most of the quote pics I could get back off Pinterest, but the ones that are from the two Clause novellas that don't come out until 2018, aren't on Pinterest yet. We were waiting until closer to time to pin those. Now though, problem solved!
