New Events
I hope everyone had a delightful Thanksgiving, and happy Thanksgiving to any of you who are still celebrating!
I'd like to take a moment to update you on upcoming events that Yarbrough House Publishing, Inc. will be involved in.
First, on November 30th, we'll be attending a Women's Event at First Baptist Church in Pell City. They're working diligently to raise funds for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. This is our first year to attend, but I understand that this is an annual thing. It's at 5:00 in the Multipurpose Building (If you're like me, that means the gym) where they eat and visit. Venders, like us, will be set up around the outside edge of the room, and a percentage of all precedes go toward the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. You do have to purchase a ticket to attend. They are $10, and if they still have any available, you can inquire about tickets at the church office. Honestly, where are you going to go for a nice meal and pay only $10? Plus, where are you going to go that the cost of your meal can help so many?
Second, on December 1st, (Yes, those dates are back to back. It will be a busy weekend for us) we'll be at Christmas at the Market. This is located in Ashville on 231 across from the nursing home at Gargus Market, and it's from 9:30-6:00. It is new and will be the first time for this event, but it sounds like a great chance to get some Christmas shopping done. The best part about these kinds of events is that you can find unique gifts for that special someone on your list that you just can't find anywhere else. If you're anywhere near the Ashville area, come on out and see us. I think you'll be glad you did.
