Upcoming Events
Our last day at Head Start was Thursday. It is officially summer, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting a break anytime soon. There is so much going on this summer; it is sure to be a busy one. We're getting ready for VBS at our church. My best friend is getting married in July, and Yarbrough House Publishing plans to release two new books at the end of June.

It will be our first Facebook release party. It should be fun as well as a learning experience. I hope you can all join us on June 27 from 6:00 to 8:00. It will be on our author Facebook page, so if you haven't discovered it yet, check us out. We've been doing our research, and I hope everyone will enjoy themselves. There will be games and prizes, and since it is online, people are free to come and go as busy schedules demand. We will be doing a new game with a chance to win a prize every fifteen minutes, so if you can't login for the whole thing, you can join in for the beginning, the end, or any time in between. What I loved about the Facebook release was that you can leave in the middle to get whatever done, then still join back in later when you're finished.
My mother and I got our first sneak peek a couple weeks ago at the illustrations for the new children's book, The Life of a Firework. They looked fantastic! I can't wait to see the finished product. I know it will be sure to please.
For the adults, we have Black & White. I've been blogging a lot about the cover art for Black & White. If you have been following the blogs, it will be worth joining the party just to get a good look at the end result.
