What Happens in Vegas
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!
Wow, they really mean that too. In today's age of technology we have a wealth of information at our fingertips at any given time. That is wonderful news for a writer. There have been places, things, and animals in my books that I've never seen in person before. It isn't a problem when I can google information and images. Las Vegas, however, leaves a lot to the imagination, but I'm looking for facts.
You may remember that I shared in an earlier blog that I was eager to get back to The Clause War. Unfortunately for me, this book takes place in Las Vegas. Since, I've never been there and can't find enough online to give me a clear picture in my mind, I keep finding myself stuck.
Clause series fans, don't panic! I'm several books ahead of what has been released, so there's still time. I'm going to find a way to get it finished in plenty of time for its release date. It might mean a visit to Vegas, though. I know it sounds like a good problem to have, but my personality is not Vegas material. The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the words "Las Vegas" is noise, lights, and crowds. For an introvert with severe migraines, none of that sounds like fun.
You can see The Clause War is going to take more effort, and obviously isn't going to happen this summer. For now, I've put The Clause War on the back burner . . . again. I'm still writing; just not on the Clause series.
