Busy, Busy, Busy!
What a busy weekend it was, and we are just getting started. Schools are into full swing with Dr. Seuss month, and what a great month is that!?! My class and I are having a blast with Dr. Seuss books. It just goes to show you should never underestimate the joy that a simple book can bring to a child. Spring break is right around the corner, and after that, the remainder of the school year will fly by. You just might miss it if you don't pay attention.
I'm busy gearing up for baseball season! I know not everyone is as fanatical a baseball fan as I am, but go Braves anyway! I can't wait to get going. Baseball games are seriously going to tie up my schedule. I'll have to buckle up and hang on tight to an even tighter schedule than now, but that's ok. It is worth every second!
In addition to Dr. Seuss, end of the year, and baseball season, here at Yarbrough House Publishing, we are setting everything into motion for our next big book release. I'm anxious to see how the next Doofy book will go over. There was a lot of response to a series of Doofy the Hippo? posts on Facebook last month. We'll have to wait and see if the Doofy Goes to School series will draw as good a turn out. Only time will tell. In the meantime, when you start making your summer reading book list, be sure to put down some of our books, and don't forget to let us know what you think when you're done!!
