An Outpouring of Love
In 2018, we at Yarbrough House Publishing, Inc. are running a book of the month campaign on Facebook. Each month we will feature one of our books. We started out the year with Wrong Turn Fairy Tales in January. February has been dedicated to Doofy the Hippo? This past week I shared my favorite parts of Doofy the Hippo?, and I was amazed at the number of views the post got. I knew that Doofy had been one of our more popular titles, but I never imagined how widely loved it was. Frankly, I was astonished at how many people cared about what I had to say and the outpouring of love.
I'm glad though to see that people do like Doofy the Hippo? It will give me more confidence moving on to our summer releases. This summer we are going to launch a new series entitled Doofy Goes To School. One of the things that I loved about Doofy the Hippo? was its connection to our own local Birmingham Zoo. The Doofy Goes To School series will have an even more intimate connection to the Birmingham Zoo, because so many of the characters are actual animals from the Birmingham Zoo.
