You know that feeling you get when you get really into a great book, and you just want to tell someone about it? That's where I am.
The problem is that I can't tell! I am so into the Clause Series right now. I am far into the series now though, and I don't want to spoil it for everyone! I am working on book number three with two novellas along the way. We've only released the first book in the series so far, The Clause Rebellion, so my readers aren't there yet. Attack On the Clause will come out later this year and two novellas next year, but I am working on The Clause Tradition.
Since I've only just finished writing out the story itself and beginning my editing process, it hasn't made it to Mama for editing yet. I can't even talk to Mama about it without giving it away. She doesn't mind, but I hate getting spoilers thrown my direction.
Y'all, I want so badly to share with someone! I have laughed. I have cried, and I've had every emotion in between. By the time you make it to The Clause Tradition, you have been following the Clause family for quite some time, and it is easy to become attached.
I've never had this strong need to just tell somebody about what is going on in one of my own books, not like this, so if you haven't started the Clause Series yet, what are you waiting on? The Clause Rebellion is out now, and Attack On the Clause will come out this fall. This is the Clause family in a way you've never seen before. Get your copy of the books so that you can fall in love with the Clauses like I have!
I can't wait to see you all at our next release where you can pick up a copy of Attack On the Clause, and we can talk about the Clause family!
Now what I have to decide is how far I take the Clause Series. There are so many characters with a story to tell and so many directions I want to explore, but how far is too far? How many are too many? When will readers get tired of the Clause Series?
I guess only time will tell. Keep me posted! As the readers, I'm interested in hearing what you like, what you'd like to hear more about, and when enough is enough.
