Visits & Emails & Giveaways, Oh my!
It was a pleasure to speak with two classes at Head Start in St. Clair County last week about illustrating. They were such a pleasure that I didn't want to leave. Thank you to Miss. Causey and Miss. Sorrell for sharing your children with me for a time, as you finish up the weeks of Dr. Suess.
We are looking forward to an opportunity to read and speak to classes at Clay Elementary tomorrow! They have been so kind to us allowing us to spend the day speaking with their children. If you have children at this school and forgot to order "Sugar, Sugar On a Stick" we will have a few extra copies with us as well as having the option to order if we run out.
In addition to the upcoming novel and next children's book, I am working away right now to try an get our children's email newsletter geared up. If you are signed up for this newsletter, you should receive your first one sometime today (let's hope). In the children's book newsletter (thinking of naming it Miss Beth's Books), we will aim to give you information about upcoming speaking engagements, upcoming books, giveaways and downloads, as well as local events or articles we come across that may be of interest to you as parents, grandparents, teachers, and aunts and uncles of terrific young readers. Please let us know if there's something you'd like to see more, or something diffferent you think might be of interest to our readers.
If you think you may be interested in our YA novel email list keep an eye out for this newsletter. It came to my attention that we would definitely need two separate emails for our different followers (though I'm sure there will be some overlap). I know I'd be interested in both. How about you? Are any of you looking forward to some upcoming novels from Elizabeth Lee Sorrell?
I am working to add a giveaway file for subscribers to newsletter(s). What would you like to see with the children's book? A filefolder game or coloring sheets? And for the novels newsletter would you care to see upcoming chapters of a book or maybe cover ideas for upcoming books?
We have lots going on and lots in the works. With that being said, I'm also a mom of a preschooler, so I've got my plate full and must get back to that bright beautiful plate. Thank you for your time and support. We love you, our readers!
